What are the temple hours?
The temple is open daily: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM & 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Aarthi is performed daily at 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Special hours will be mentioned on special occassion.
Is the temple open during public holidays?
Yes, the temple is open 365 days a year — including all federal, provincial, and public holidays.

How can I donate to the temple?
Donations can be made in person or via e-transfer (srimahaganapathytemple468@gmail.com).
All contributions help support religious services, temple upkeep, and community initiatives.
Do I need to book in advance for poojas or archanas?
All Archanas and regular Poojas are walk-in. No prior booking is required.
However, Car Poojas and other special services require advance booking.
Please contact the temple office to schedule.
What can I purchase from the temple?
All the items for sale are available on the shelf placed at the temple entrance inside.
We cannot sell Ghee, Rice, Milk, Sugar, Dahi, etc, as they are forms of Lakshmi which cannot be sold.
When can I offer water to the Shivling at the temple?
Is prasadam available?
Yes, prasadam is distributed daily and during special events.
Annadhanam (free meal offerings) is also served during major festivals and sponsored days.
Can I bring children to the temple?
Yes. Children are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The temple is a family-friendly space rooted in culture and spirituality.
What festivals are celebrated at the temple?
The temple celebrates a wide range of Hindu festivals, including:
Makar Sankranti, Thai Pongal, Karthik Deepam, Shiv Ratri, Chaitra & Shardha Navratri, Diwali, Skanda Sasti, Thiruvempai.

Can I volunteer at the temple?
Yes. Volunteers are always needed and appreciated for various tasks — from helping with events to temple maintenance.
Please visit the temple office or sign up through our Volunteer Form.
Can I sponsor a festival or annadhanam?
Yes. Devotees can sponsor entire festivals, poojas, or Annadhanam (free meals) for blessings and merit.
Names of sponsors are typically included in the sankalpam and announced during the event.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. Please wear modest and respectful clothing. Traditional attire is welcomed.
Footwear must be removed before entering the inner temple area.

Can I take photos inside the temple?
Photography is allowed inside the temple.
Are mobile phones allowed inside the temple?
Mobile phones are permitted but must be kept on silent mode.
Please avoid using your phone inside the sanctum or during aarti, pooja, or other rituals.
Is there accommodation in the temple for people to stay?
No, the temple does not offer accommodation or overnight stay facilities.
Devotees are welcome to visit during temple hours, but we kindly ask that all visitors make independent lodging arrangements if needed.
Is there a quiet space for meditation or japa?
Yes. Devotees are welcome to sit quietly in the main hall for meditation, japa, or silent reflection.
Please respect the sanctity of the space and avoid loud conversations or phone use.
Is parking available at the temple?
There is limited street parking available near the temple.
We recommend arriving early, especially during festivals or weekends, to secure a spot. Paid parking lots are also nearby.
Are non-Hindus allowed to visit the temple?
Yes, the temple welcomes everyone.
Visitors are kindly asked to dress modestly and remove their footwear before entering the sanctum.
